VLO is run by Joanne Jefferis who is a freelance professional Cellist.

 

Joanne trained at Birmingham Conservatoire and graduated in 2000 with an MA in performance.After many years working with a quartet Joanne decided to set up VLO in order to provide a consistently high standard of playing for all events. With this in mind you can be sure that you will be booking some of  the areas best musicians, who are all classically trained music graduates.

 

This talented ensemble comprising two violins, one viola and cello can perform a wide variety of music from Blur to Bach, with lots more in between!

Wherever possible we will always endeavour to cater to specific requests and we are often able to access specific music when requested.

Whether you are having a church service or civil ceremony VLO are experienced in playing in or outdoors and often follow clients between venues.   

 

If you require a smaller ensemble, such as a duo or trio, this can often be arranged.
